A senior producer who was part of the discussion revealed “Swathi is a very talented person. She was great as an anchor, had good timing with her lines and a witty sense of humour. For some reason, she has become an actress. As such she is not a heroine material in long run as she is not desired by every director.”
He added “The best path for Swathi is, she can do anchoring for TV shows and get into significant roles in movies like the ones she did in ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaalu Verule’. But she can’t take full time career into cinema by ignoring TV. I don’t understand why she has to become laughing stock like this. God has given her few chances.”
Another director stated “No heroine can entertain masses with natural dialogues like Swathi on the small screen or during events. Instead of that, she is doing something else. She can take inspiration from Jhansi who has got a big image and has dual presence in TV and cinema. She also got Nandi award with her right moves.” Wonder what Swathi has to say to this now.
