Ram Reddy brought professionalism and work culture to Sakshi and in fact, was considered to be a synonym for Sakshi. For the readers, he was popularly known as Ram Annayya and for the others, he was “Sakshi Ram Reddy.” Such was his attachment with that media house.
After quitting Sakshi, Ram Reddy is nowhere to be seen. Initially, he told a couple of friends that he would make a foray into film making, but one does not know what happened to the project after that. There was also a talk that he would take over as CEO of I-News Channel, but later, it turned out to be just a rumour. He even reportedly tried to get closer to Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao in the recent past; may be to revive his old advertisement business. But after seeing KVP shaking hands with Jaganmohan Reddy at a wedding recently, Ram Reddy dropped the idea, thinking that KVP and Jagan might join hands with each other again.
Now, Ram Reddy is believed to have switched off his mobile and is not responding even to his friends’ calls. May be he will come out with a bang with his new venture!
