'Namaste Telangana' News Paper failed to attract in Telangana region?

It was with great hype and hoopla the newspaper ‘Namaste Telangana’ was launched and sources say the man behind that is TRS head K Chandrasekhar Rao. Speculations were making rounds that this would give a very tough fight to big players like Eenadu, Sakshi in the Telangana region.

However, a close source working with the T-movement and based in Warangal came up with an interesting fact. He revealed “Namaste Telangana got huge opening response like a big hero’s film Anna. Right in the first week, the subscription touched one lakh fifty thousand copies.”

He added “But within one week, it came down drastically. The number came to sixty thousand and those who took it in beginning have gone back to Eenadu and Sakshi. They cannot be blamed because if you read ‘Namaste Telangana’ you will notice that most of the things are taken from Andhra Jyothi and other newspapers and rewritten. And the quality is very poor. Overall, the newspaper has become an utter failure in Telangana.”
