NRIs, beware of your Hyderabad Properties

Though it has been a while since Hyderabad regained its glory when it comes to real estate, there are still activities happening on this front, albeit illegally. This is a caution to all those NRIs who have purchased properties and have left it vacant hoping to build dream homes.

Reports are arriving that land grabbers have begun scouting for properties owned by NRIs and are going ahead with constructions.

On discovery, they are either taking the matter to the court or an out of court settlement leaving nothing for the real owners. Even some of the notable places like Ayyappa Society and other places are going through this.

Double registrations and marking lands flouting the rules has increased and properties of NRIs are being occupied by encroachers. Many are suggesting that the NRI owners should build a compound wall, a room and ensure that their land is protected failing which their properties will no longer be theirs.
