Casino Ship in Durgam Cheruvu Lake?

Lately, it is heard that many are suggesting to governments that casinos should be entertained in areas where there is scope for tourism. To those who are familiar with that, Casinos on water ie on the ship add that extra thrill and sources say even the rules and regulations are quite comfortable.

Now, it is heard that the AP state government has been approached with a proposal of coming up with a casino ship in the Durgam Cheruvu lake. As such, one night’s turnover in a regular casino ship is around Rs 10 crores to Rs 20 crores. The bare fact is that only 10% profit is for people who come out of it.

However, this is only for the rich and bare minimum costs have to be borne. For example, only entry fee would be close to Rs 2500 and a minimum stake of Rs 1 lakh sets things rolling. But then, given the creamy layer we are talking about, even if the individual loses it’s no big deal and the government will get good revenue.

As such, using the name of liquor they are amassing huge revenues so why not this is the logic by those who are proposing. This recommendation has begun since a while and given the potential of Hyderabad, if all goes well then the chances of seeing a casino ship at Durgam Cheruvu is quite likely.
