At present, the channel is being managed by Naidu’s son Lokesh, who has converted into a virtual Babu Channel. There are no other programmes except Babu Bhajan and YSR family bashing in that channel.
As a result, the channel stands at the bottom in terms of TRP ratings. Luckily for Narne, the channel is still in his name and he has not transferred the title in the name of Lokesh.
Taking advantage of this, Jr NTR who has just become the son-in-law of Narne, is believed to have expressed interest in taking over the channel and convert it into a full-fledged entertainment-cum-news channel. And Narne liked this idea and might implement it anyday.
The intention of Jr NTR is clear. It will not only help promote his own filmy image like Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi have done with Maa TV; but also to ease out Lokesh and Chandrababu, who have converted the Studio-N into their personal propaganda medium.
