Kajol is an Indian actress who reached the millions of heart through her bubbly smile is turning 37 today. She is born on 5 August, 1974 to Shomu Mukherjee and Tanuja in Mumbai. She is belonging to Bengali-Marathi family. Her father was a film director and producer while her mother is an actress. Kajol made her bollywood debut when she was 17 years in 1992 through Bekhudi but her bollywood success was Baazigar in 1993 opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Kajol received Filmfare Award for best actress for 5 times for Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998),Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), My Name is Khan (2010) opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Fanaa (2006) opposite Aamir Khan. In 2011, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian Cinema. She made an appearance in one of the Tamil movies, Minsara Kanavu opposite Roja actor Aravind Swamy and Indian Michael Jackson Prabhu Deva.
Kajol married Ajay Devgan,a bollywood actor, in 1999 and the couple have two kids, Nysa (daughter) and Yug (son).
