Sekhar Kammula is known for making films, which have a rare combination of aesthetic values and commercial success. They are considered to be path breaking. He is known as the instigator of the new wave of Telugu films.
Film & Photography committee also conducting an interactive session with Stephen W. Oachs on Photography. Stephen W. Oachs is an award-winning photographer, successful entrepreneur and technology veteran. He was recognized in 2007 as wildlife photographer of the year by the National Wildlife Federation and was awarded best nature photographer in 2008 by National Geographic Magazine for his work photographing the endangered snow leopard.
